Hajara Umar

Hajara Umar is an Agronomist Intern at the Foundation for Sustainable Smallholder Farmers Solutions (FSSS). She is a highly motivated and dedicated professional with a strong academic background in Animal Production, having graduated with a First Class (Hons) degree from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi.
She completed her one-year National Youth Service in the Animal Science Laboratory of the Federal University, Dutse, where she contributed to key laboratory activities, including animal feed estimation. Hajara has also received specialised training in Artificial Insemination at NAPRI, Shika, Zaria, and in good animal husbandry practices through the Community Livestock Service Providers programme. In addition, she holds a professional diploma in Computer Operations from the Professor Iya Abubakar Community Resource Centre.
Driven by a strong passion for improving animal production, Hajara is committed to continuous learning and professional excellence. She is keen to contribute meaningfully to sustainable agricultural development, particularly among rural communities and smallholder farmers.
