How We Started
2018
Foundation Established
The Syngenta Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture (SFSA), an international NGO based in Switzerland was established in Nigeria.
2019
Farmers’ Hub Launched
Introduced the Farmers’ Hub model in Nigeria, adapted to the local needs of smallholder farmers across rural Nigerian farming communities.
2019
Three Farmers' Hubs Opened
Established three Farmers’ Hubs in communities in Northern Nigeria states: two in Kano state and one in Jigawa state.
2020
Greenhouse Innovation
Pioneered the use of greenhouses for raising horticulture seedlings among smallholder farming communities in Nigeria.
2023
Revenue Milestone
Through our network of Farmers' Hubs, we achieved $3 million in revenue from the hubs, impacting over 119,000 plus farmers.
2024
54 Hubs Established
Expanded the hub network to 54 locations, adding presence in Plateau and Osun States and growing operations in Benue.
